There is some dog earring to pages in the lower right corner and some foxing to some of the pages. The binding is still good and the book is still very readable.

MISCELLANEOUS WRITINGS ON SLAVERY
A rare book written by an early abolishionist William Jay. It is titled Miscellaneous Writings on Savery. It was published in 1853 by John P. Jenette & Co. Boston, Massachusetts. This looks to be an early copy from the 1850's very possibly 1853. It is lacking some of the front pages including the title page. The front cover and a portion of the spine covering are missing. Inshort this is a rough copy. The first page present begins with the words Part I American Colonization Society. All of the pages are present from that point on. It is interesting reading.

There is wear and trar to the cover and spine and some soiling and ripped pages but it is still a good solid book and an interesting history of history! The book measures aaprox. 12 1/4" X 10 1/4".
